The park consists of mature woodland and an arboretum as well as open parkland. There is an extensive pets corner, deer, cattle, llamas and goats as well as chickens and rabbits. School visits are catered for. Stewart Park also houses Captain Cook’s Museum. In July the Park hosts the Cleveland Show.
